T H E - J E S U S - W A Y - IS - FOR - YOU

Many thousands of Indian people have found that Jesus always keeps his treaty promises. Now you can read about him and study the Jesus Way for yourself in this New Testament.

You will read here about the life of Jesus and how he had the power to make things right. You will read how Jesus gave the greatest gift to set Native people free.  You will learn how Jesus has broken down the barriers between people and now brings them together in peace.

When you become a follower of Jesus, you can know that he will keep his promise to change your life, too.  Turn to the following pages on "BECOMING A FOLLOWER OF JESUS" to learn how you can join other Native people on the road of the Jesus Way.

BECOMING A FOLLOWER OF JESUS -
One day, people from every tribe and nation will live with the Creator in a new heaven and a new earth.

The Creator's Word tells us:

"The time will come when the Lord will make everything new.  He will send the Christ . . . He must remain in heaven until the time when God makes everything new."
ACTS 3:19-21

When this happens, the Creator's way of things; will never be broken again.  He will live with his people and walk with them as he did in the beginning.  To share in this, you must become a follower of the Son of God---Jesus--who said:

"I am the way and the truth and the life.  No one comes to the Father except through me."
JOHN 14:6

How is Jesus the Way to the Father?   Jesus gave the gift of his life for you. His blood was poured out and he died for you.

"We have been set free because of what Christ has done.  Through his blood our sins have been forgiven. We have been set free because God's grace is so rich."
EPHESIANS 1:7

After Jesus died, he rose from the dead with power and glory.  Now the Jesus Way of truth and life can be your way, too.  When you follow the Jesus Way, you are finding your home with the Creator.

"God made us, He created us to belong to Christ Jesus."  EPHESIANS 2:10

"..turn away from your sins.  Turn to God.  Then your sins will be wiped away."
ACTS 3:19

You have a real choice.  You can walk on a new trail. You must turn away from your old path and turn to the Jesus Way.  Here is what you must do to become a follower of Jesus:

1. ADMIT to the Creator that you are captive to sin and have not followed his path for right living.

2. BELIEVE that the Creator of the world love you and sent his Son Jesus to take the penalty for your sin.

3. CONFESS "Jesus is Lord."  Believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead.  Then you will be saved."
ROMANS 10:9

You can tell Jesus that you will now follow his Way:

Jesus, I believe you died for my sins and rose again so I can have new life.  I want to turn from my sin.  I want to serve and follow you. I give myself to you.  Help me now to love you with all my heart and soul and mind.  Amen.

"God's grace has saved you because of your faith in Christ. Your salvation doesn't come from anything you do. It is God's gift."
EPHESIANS 2:8

The Creator wants you to have the fullest life possible. Here are some important steps for you to take on this new path as a follower of Jesus:

READ God's Word every day.

The Bible is the food which provides spiritual nourishment for our daily walk with Jesus. There is enough here for a lifetime of learning and growing.

PRAY and talk to God regularly.

Prayer is your lifeline to God.  Remember you are not alone with burdens and problems you may meet.  Pour your heart out to God.  He delights in listening to you.  The Creator can do far more than we could ever ask for or imagine.

SHARE and tell others about the Jesus Way.

You are a messenger for Jesus wherever you go. The Jesus Way is for people from every tribe, nation, clan and language.  You can help them learn this path of beauty from the Creator.

MEET with other followers of Jesus for prayer, Bible study and worship.

Find a gathering of Jesus followers near you and join with them.  The Creator did not intend for you to walk the trail alone.

"The one who began a good work in you will carry it on until it is completed."
PHILIPPIANS 1:6
