All
Generations conducts weekly Services. The Services begin after everyone has arrived. We
also meet together throughout the week in person, or on the telephone to discuss:
The
triumphs the LORD
has provided since the previous Service when we were gathered in the Church. Prayer
needs for one another and for individual family members both here on the Yakama Reservation and throughout
the Americas. Prayers
are also offered for such things as world-wide natural disasters.
We
often find ourselves praying together one on one, and then spreading the word to other Church Members and friends of the
Church. We also post emergency prayers on the internet to obtain the prayer involvement of prayer warriors around the world.
The
nature of our Weekly Services - |
All
Generations gatherings are unique in the sense that during the Services we minister to the
various people groups that are attending on any particular day. Everyone feels comfortable and accepted regardless of their
unique background. The
Church does not operate an established dress code for
those who attend. Everyone is welcome to 'come as you are." The only
expectation is that all who come do so to personally seek the LORD.
One common saying locally is; "I grew up in
the Long House Religion, but I found JESUS
in Brownstown." It is
unlikely that any two Services would necessarily turn out to be exactly the same due to the
very nature of the ministry. Such an approach 'fits' well here in Brownstown.
Regardless of our particular uniqueness, the gospel of JESUS
CHRIST is our biblical standard and
belief core.
1
Corinthians 15:1-4 "Now,
brothers, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on
which you have taken your stand. By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to
the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain. For what I
received I passed on to you of first importance; that CHRIST
died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that HE
was buried, that HE
was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures..."

Romans
1:16-18 "I
am not ashamed of the gospel for it is the power of GOD
for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew and then for the
Gentile. For in the gospel a righteous from GOD
is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is
written: "The righteous will live by faith."

Galatians
1:8-9 "But
even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other then the one we preached
to you, let him be eternally condemned! As we have already said, so now I say again;
If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other that what you accepted, let him be eternally
condemned!
